Opening Night Reception

Solo Show, Barbara Retelle
The Maple Valley Creative Arts Council will host an opening night reception at the Creative Arts Center (23220 Maple Valley Hwy SE, Ste 15) featuring landscape and nature photographer Barbara Retelle.
On hand for your enjoyment will be the usual wine, refreshments and a
special highlight for this shows' opening, LIVE music performed by
Native American music artist Paul Kara Ross along with --- Barbara Retelle's solo show consisting of landscape and nature photography. Join us at this free event!
Artist Bio:
Since receiving my first camera as a child, I have been interested in
taking photos. For many years, photos were taken to record memories of
outdoor activities. I became interested in the way light plays on things
and took my first photography classes in High School. I continued to
take photos throughout my life capturing the light and saving memories.
Over the last 10 years, my photos have shown in a number of local shows
and galleries, as well as, been published in local newspapers and
newsletters. Some of my photos have been used in educational slideshows
shown in elementary schools. I now take photos not only to capture
moments in time, but that also tell stories and share feelings.
