🎤 10 Things You Should Know About Maple Valley Idol, Jr. Before You Audition! 🎶
Thinking about auditioning for Maple Valley Idol, Jr.? Here’s what you need to know before you sign up! ⬇️
1️⃣ Age Requirement – Make sure you qualify -- all contestants must be by March 29 within one of these two age divisions:
- Ages 8-12 Young Stars Division
- Ages 13-16 Teen Stars Division
2️⃣ Residence – Must be a resident of South King County at the time of audition and finals. ✨
3️⃣ Audition Song Choice – Prepare two songs that showcase your voice. Keep it family-friendly! 🎵
4️⃣ Performance Time – You’ll have up to 4 minutes to wow the judges! ⏳
5️⃣ Accompaniment Rules – Contestants must use a karaoke/instrumental track with no lead vocals (Background vocals are ok) or accompany themselves on an instrument. 🎹🎸
6️⃣ Deadline to turn in tracks: All tracks must be turned in Sunday, March 16th at 5:00 p.m.
7️⃣ Judging Criteria – Stage presence, vocal ability, and star quality matter. Shine bright! ✨
8️⃣ What to Wear – Dress to impress, but be comfortable and confident! 👗👕
9️⃣ Competition Rounds – If you make it past auditions, you must be available Friday, May 30 for the final rounds! 🎤
