Christmas Carol The Cat

Get ready for a brand-new holiday tradition! Christmas Carol The Cat is a delightful new children’s play written by Ed Corrigan, featuring a talented group of local actors and singers.

 

Inspired by Dickens’ timeless A Christmas Carol, this imaginative retelling replaces Scrooge and his companions with cats, dogs, and plenty of Christmas spirit! Filled with humor, heart, and holiday songs, this show is perfect for audiences of all ages — from kids to grandparents.

 

Expect laughter, a few surprises, and a heartwarming reminder of what the season is all about.

Register your young performer for an unforgettable three-day musical theatre workshop: A Wicked Workshop, taught by talented members of the Tahoma High School Performing Arts program!

 

  • December 29–31 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Location: Maple Valley Creative Arts Center
  • Grades: 3–6
  • Cost: $150 per student (20% sibling discount available $240 pairs)

Over three exciting days, students will:

  • Learn a full song and dance number from the beloved musical and movie Wicked
  • Prepare for a final performance of “Defying Gravity” for family and friends

  • Build confidence with musical theatre dance skills and stage presence
  • Work as a team in a fun, supportive, and creative environment
