Unravel a fantastical tale as the beautiful Princess from a mythical Kingdom in the middle of Canada seeks the help of hard-boiled Private Eye, Dick Doubleheart. Dive into a whirlwind of danger, mayhem, and a plot-twisting political coup at the coronation banquet!


This fun event is written and directed by John Ruoff, with special guest Leah Carrell, Ryan Asbert, Rob Bowker, Lindsey Dabek, Josh Kibbey, Chris Mathews, Dean T. From heartfelt ballads to foot-stomping country and rock-and-roll, Jim's journey with the guitar began at the age of eight and evolved through the folk-rock scene of the 70s. Having honed his skills in Los Angeles, he's a local legend you won't want to miss! So bring your family, friends, and even a picnic blanket for an evening of great music under the stars!

Maple Valley Creative Arts Center 2024 Adult Short Play Festival 


In this first season of our 2024 Playwrights Festival, the Maple Valley Creative Arts Center seeks to provide a platform for forward-thinking, diverse voices for Youth and Family Audiences. We are asking local Adult writers to submit original plays to be considered for our live Playwrights Festival in November 2024.


Play length: 10 to 12 minutes maximum. We will select eight finalists whose plays will be performed at the Maple Valley Creative Arts Center on the night of November 8, 2024.
