Do you know a young storyteller with a great idea for the stage? The Maple Valley Creative Arts Council is now accepting submissions for the Youth Playwright Festival through June 1, 2026.

Each spring, students in grades 6–12 from Maple Valley and surrounding communities are invited to submit their original short plays. Up to six plays will be selected and brought to life with a professional production featuring local actors.

This is an exciting opportunity for young writers to see their work performed on stage!
