MVCAC'S 22ND ANNUAL ARTS FEST - THE VIRTUAL EDITION



The Maple Valley Arts Council is pleased to present the 22nd Annual Arts Festival - The Virtual Edition - and is seeking digital images of 2 & 3D works of art. This year's juror is Kathleen Fruge Brown, renowned local artist and art instructor. Cash awards and prizes will be awarded. Entry is free this year with a max of 3 pieces per artist.

  

- Entry is FREE this year

- 2D & 3D art only - no videos.

- Max. 3 pieces in JPEG format (5 JPEG files max. including details). For best results, make sure your image is 1920 pixels @72 dpi on the longest side. 

- Most mediums will be accepted.

- Entries must be original, have been created in the last 2 years and not previously entered in the MV Days Arts Festival.

- Artwork may or may not be available for purchase.

- If artwork IS available for purchase, please provide your website address and/or email address so we can direct inquiries to you directly.

- Family-friendly content.

- Digitized artwork only will be juried.

- ALL entries will be juried for the Main Juried Show. If artwork is not accepted into the Main Juried Show, work will be in the Salon Show. All entrants will be notified by email prior to the show start date. Juried show award winners will be notified by phone.

- Artwork may be displayed on Facebook.com/MVCAC, Instagram.com/MapleValleyArts, Flickr.com/MapleValleyArts, and MapleValleyArts.com.



About This Year's Juror

KATHLEEN FRUGE BROWN

 

Kathleen Frugé Brown is a painter, printmaker, and public artist with work in the collections of the Tacoma Art Museum, the State of Washington, Seattle, Tacoma, and Microsoft. Her commissioned public art can be seen across the country and in many schools and municipalities in Washington State. Among her awards are grants from Artist Trust, 4Culture, Pilchuck Glass School, and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. Kathleen teaches at Cascadia College, and lives and works in Maple Valley.
