The year 2013 has turned out the be the year of the skilled female
artist and we're proud to continue to promote and support Wendy Winbeckler
and her
wonderful artistic talent. Wendy and her artwork will be on hand at her
solo show opening night reception. Bring a friend, meet the artist and partake in wine
tasting and refreshments at this free event.
Earth Dress
Artist Bio: Wendy Winbeckler is a painter and collage artist.
Formerly painting in watercolor over 26 years, she currently uses
acrylic, mixed media, and collage. Much of
Wendy’s new work is in an extremely textured impressionistic style,
accomplished mainly with palette knife tools. The thick impasto paints
create a sculpted look with depth, which people are encouraged to touch.
In the construction of her collage work, Wendy uses her own poetry,
metal and stencils. Since she has been involved with mixed media, she
signs all of her newest work with the signature, Kanojo. She is a
life-long resident of the Seattle Washington area.
